Ciment Fondu
(4 Wednesdays & Thursdays beginning 25th /26th April)
Local and much experienced artist, Kay Singla, invites you to explore the qualities and potential of Ciment Fondu!
Come create pieces of sculpture that can be kept indoors or out using a medium that doesn’t need to be fired! Over four consecutive Wednesdays or Thursdays, students will learn about the unique qualities of Ciment Fondu. They will work through the processes of building armatures and the onto the application of the ciment. Expert advice will be given by Kay Singla in finishing and colouring the piece. Students should aim to produce at least one or more pieces over the course of 4-week days.
Not to be missed, this will be completely different from our normal, midweek classes!
