I'd like to say how much I enjoy coming to the sculpture group. You could not wish for a nicer group of people. Above all, I really appreciate how much I have learnt from Karin and Peter. Until I came to the Wednesday sessions, I had never done anything other than painting, and now I have discovered a medium which I love and have definitely improved in with their guidance.

Come join our friendly class of students for part of the 10-week term. Working from a variety of different models to produce your own clay models or sculptures, the class will study three models for three consecutive weeks producing either Portrait or Life studies. A final ‘finishing off’ week is included.

Experience of clay modelling or sculpture is required for this course as there will be no teaching as such. Karin Ort will however give a critique once a day.

There will be extra charges for clay and firing, which are variable depending on size of work you wish to produce. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included.
