KNEPP

For a dozen glorious spring days, the Knepp Rewilding Project will play to host a group of 12 artists. Their exhibition, called ‘Inspired By Knepp’, will show individual artworks that celebrate what Knepp has achieved and the rewilding movement. Profits from the artworks sold will be split between the artists and the Knepp Wildland Foundation charity.

Over the last few months, the artists have been given safari-like tours and spent several days exploring the estate. This exhibition will show each artist’s response to their time immersed in the inspirational, transformed, and thriving landscape.

The exhibition runs from the Knepp Estate 4-16 May and is open daily, between 10 am-5 pm. Entry will be free, and you can also visit the Wilding Kitchen and Shop and explore the Knepp Estate grounds yourself, using the designated footpaths.

Accessibilty:

  • We regret to say that at present, The Gathering, which is the main venue where the majority of the exhibition is being held does, not have level access and therefore is not accessible to wheelchair users. The same is sadly true for the Granary where all of the workshops are being held too.
  • There are several steps going up to both the Gathering (9 in total) and the Granary (7 in total), each set of steps have handrails.
  • The shop, entrance hall (where there will be artworks), shop and cafe all have level access and there are accessible toilets in the Cafe too.
  • In addition to the exhibition, there are a series of fabulous workshops and demonstrations that you can now sign up for. Book now to avoid disappointment!
